About Mr BonxHey Mr B here,And welcome to the Official web site of Red Seal Records ltd, a bright and ambitious offering. The thoughts and opinions within these pages offer an insight to the world of Mr Bonx.com and have no connection, links or time for sites of a similar name. Therefore it is with great pleasure to introduce you to some real links to some of the coolest people in the music business today, check out the photos of me and my chums, and hopefully laugh at the monthly rants about life, women, going for it and lager. You can also check out my Ghostly story, up on line about a certain pub about 600 yards from my front door. Now that's what I call handy. All the best Mr Bonx.com. Well back on the airwaves last week on Meridian FM, and what fun. Did one acoustic number with my new Ovation guitar and they played Wake me gently from the Never mind the ballads album. www.myspace.com/ovationguitars Talking of which, you can now buy my two albums and Dorset Arms story on-line… check it out….ooppss, little bit of PR there. Some of you might have have heard about my small venture into politics. Many laughed, so did I at first. It transpires that someone had read the Sept 2006 rant, which I have re-posted. And liked my ideas and attitude. It was very hard work canvassing, leaflet distributing, talking to morons, talking to interesting and intelligent people, more morons, leafleting, etc etc.
One arsehole started to have a go at me in the polling station. Luckily for him I was very tired, so he didnt get a smack in the chops, yes yes not quite the Conservative policy, but the fucker really wound me up .Bastad ! Then he started to have a go at a young woman sitting next to me I calmly told him to go away .Idiot ! But it was an experience, and I enjoyed talking to loads of people, mainly about poor old East Grinstead.
As with many towns across the land it seems developers are grasping their greedy hands at any bit of green land, or destroying anything of any historical value to build monstrous blocks of flats with no character, style or atheistic value.
What they forget is East Grinstead was built many centuries ago, and its layout is unique. They also seem to push under the carpet the fact that for a town of already nearly 30,000 people has a shoe box for a post office, no Butcher, no baker, no green-grocer, unless you want to be conned by the big super markets and pay their extortionate prices. Sign of the times I guess so.
Since Christmas 2006 14 shops have closed down, others have become Nail bars (???) mobile phone outlets or up market yuppie coffee shops: where you pay £ 2.80 for a cup the size of a childrens tea party cup. But I suppose you must look cool sitting in the window, sipping a cup of muck, on your mobile whilst clutching the Times newspaper
Naa, Sign of the times I guess so. I enjoyed my political experience but think Ill leave them to it. This months rant is my thoughts on the whole subject enjoy C 'ya B. xxx Click to see the May 2007 rant!! » |
